As active participants in the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, we've successfully completed over 500 installations, serving more than 1,400 satisfied customers. Our mission is to deliver comfortable, sustainable, and cost-effective climate control solutions that significantly reduce energy consumption and costs.The Opportunity: We're seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our HVAC division's growth. This pivotal role combines strategic planning with hands-on sales execution, offering an exciting opportunity to make a substantial impact in the sustainable energy sector.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our HVAC sales pipeline, with a focus on multi-split, VRF, and ducted systemsBuild and nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholdersLeverage the VEU program to create compelling, cost-saving proposals for potential clientsCollaborate with our operations team to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfactionIdentify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on themRepresent Smart Upgrades at industry events, trade shows, and networking functionsProvide regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline development, and market trendsWork closely with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and materialsQualifications and Skills:Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the HVAC or related industriesIn-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, particularly multi-split, VRF, and ducted technologiesFamiliarity with energy efficiency programs, especially the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) schemeStrong negotiation and presentation skillsExcellent relationship-building and networking abilitiesAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and dataSelf-motivated with a results-driven approachWhat We Offer:Competitive base salary plus an uncapped commission structure that rewards high performanceComprehensive training on our product range, including top brands like Midea, Mitsubishi Electric, and DaikinOpportunity to be a key player in a growing companyProfessional development opportunities and potential for career advancementSupportive team environment that values innovation and sustainabilityWhy Join Smart Upgrades: By joining our team, you'll be at the forefront of the green energy revolution.
