The Opportunity:
As the
Head of Digital Sales
at Seven in Melbourne, you will play a pivotal role in driving 27% of the national digital revenue through our platforms: 7plus.com.au, 7NEWS.com.au, and the 7everywhere social channels.
In this role, you will lead a talented team of 13 client-focused sales professionals and be the face of Seven in Melbourne, engaging with major agency holding groups, independent agencies, and clients to demonstrate the value of joining the Seven Digital Sales team.
Based in Docklands, and reporting to the National Digital Sales Director, you will focus on:
Lead the Digital sales revolution by spearheading the development and execution of Seven Digital Sales' strategic vision for Melbourne.
Elevate Seven as a market leader, driving innovation and thought leadership in digital, data, and programmatic sales.
Drive growth by owning end-to-end revenue responsibility for achieving revenue targets and budget goals across all digital channels.
Build and nurture relationships with agencies, clients, and internal teams to drive collaborative solutions and maximize revenue.
Lead, inspire, and invest in your team's growth by providing mentorship, coaching, and career development opportunities to foster a high-performance culture.
Identify and leverage new revenue opportunities to shape the future of digital sales.
Deliver excellence by ensuring seamless operations, providing transparent reporting, cultivating strong communication, collaborating with internal teams, and delivering outstanding client service to drive business success.
About You:
You will be an experienced Sales Leader with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
You are highly motivated, innovative, and proactive, with a deep passion for digital technologies.
A practical and outcome-oriented problem solver, you are a thought leader with strong attention to detail and a meticulous focus on execution and delivering results.
You possess a collaborative mindset, strong presentation skills, and the flexibility to adapt your style to suit different environments and audiences.
You will have:
Significant experience in a publisher, client, or agency environment, ideally within digital media with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Experience selling data that drives commercial results via client success.
Experienced in developing and executing strategic plans that deliver exceptional results, particularly in the areas of commercial data, digital strategies, and trading strategies.
Solid understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, buying models, and the impact on agencies and publishers.
Extensive network of agency, trading desk, and brand relationships with a proven track record of influencing decision-makers at all levels, but especially senior decision-makers.
Knowledge of Video, Display, Social, Branded Content, Mobile, Data & Programmatic, with an understanding of the relative strengths and roles of each.
Experience in effectively managing and developing Sales Managers, Account Managers, and Coordinators.
Solid understanding of Google Analytics, DSPs, SSPs, and Ad Servers.
