Job Title: Heritage Coordinator

Position Type: 12 month Full Time Casual Temporary Contract – Potential Extension
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate + Super
Location: Bentley WA 6102
Key Responsibilities: Support the feasibility phase of the Pilbara Green Link Project, a 600km high-voltage transmission line project in the Pilbara region of WA.Support the Heritage Manager to deliver the project Heritage requirements.Support development of heritage related packages, including drafting and reviewing scopes of works, maps, shape files, etc.Coordinate heritage supplier interactions, including securing reports, ensuring Purchase Orders are raised, invoices are processed and paid, etc.Coordinate end-to-end project heritage requirements.Manage and coordinate site heritage survey works, including ensuring arrangements are in place for travel, flights, accommodation & transport, etc.Support development of project Heritage management plans and processes.Ensuring implementation of project Heritage management plans and processes.Essential to be successful in this role: Minimum of 3 years practical experience in assessing and managing Aboriginal heritage matters for PBC/Aboriginal Corporation, or as Aboriginal heritage consultant.Experienced at relationship building with Traditional Owner groups & Aboriginal Corporations in WA.Experience coordinating heritage surveys in regional WA.Ability to deliver against schedule.Ability to coordinate delivery of regional and remote Heritage surveys.Understanding of Aboriginal Heritage industry in WA and associated processes.Familiarity with the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972 and regulations.Advanced level Skill – GIS.WA Driver's License Class 'C' or 'C-A'.DFP welcomes applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and people with disability.
