The Department is at the forefront of delivering strategic initiatives, including the development of sustainable energy solutions, infrastructure projects of state significance and programs designed to enhance economic opportunities and community outcomes.About the Role | Director, Contract Development and Management (Grants)As a Director, Contract Development and Management within the Grants, Commercial and Contract Management Division you will be responsible for providing leadership in the delivery of quality contract development and management services that contribute to the success of the Department.Your Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage contract development and management services to align with departmental goals.Ensure contract services are efficient, effective and offer economic value.Establish a strong governance framework that promotes accountability and trust.Conduct complex negotiations and collaborate with various stakeholders, including government entities, industries and communities.Develop and refine service delivery models to meet evolving business needs.Leverage modern tools and systems to maximise value for the department's investment in contract services.Promote innovation and continuously improve contract management practices to build stakeholder confidence.Foster a dynamic workplace culture that attracts and retains top talent while supporting their development.Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on emerging contract issues.About YouTo excel in this role, you bring strategic leadership skills and the ability to foster a collaborative, innovative workplace culture.
