Your leadership will play a pivotal role in fostering a sustainable environment for businesses, residents, and visitors alike.What's in it for you?$135,000 + SuperChapel Street LocationFlexibility affordedStartup large scale community-based, government-backed eventGreat, diverse and inclusive cultureWhat do you do?Lead the development and implementation of the company's strategic plan in order to increase return on investmentDevelop the yearly budget and quarterly cash flow projectionsOversee all marketing & business operations to ensure alignment with KPIsBuild strong and effective relationships with the Board, staff, members, relevant government departments and statutory authorities, sponsors, media, and local community representatives.Actively market the precinct and the businesses within the area to ensure long-term viability and resilienceManage staff, contractors, and consultants to ensure operational targets for all functions are metParticipate in interviews with all forms of mediaMonitor all compliance requirements and implement necessary systemsUndertake work as advised by the ChairpersonWhat do you need?Experience as a General Manager - in the hospitality or events space is desirableDemonstrated experience running full P&LStrong commercial acumenBudgeting and forecasting experienceOutstanding interpersonal skillsImpeccable prioritization and organizational skillsUnderstanding of government compliance requirementsIf you're as passionate about this position as we are, please don't delay and APPLY NOW
