Software Sales Development Representative Job - Melbourne Melbourne, Victoria, Australia (On-site) One of CAPR Services' clients, a fast-growing company that provides advanced software solutions for the construction industry, is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their team.
This client focuses on helping construction firms, subcontractors, and project managers streamline their operations and improve efficiency through technology.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Melbourne, where you'll play a key role in sourcing and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound efforts and booking discovery calls with qualified prospects.
In this position, you'll work closely with a high-performing Account Executive, who will conduct calls alongside you and provide guidance on progressing opportunities.
Additionally, CAPR Services will offer structured coaching on critical SDR skills, such as prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline management, setting you up for a strong career path within the company.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct a high volume of outbound Connect Calls, targeted emails, and Linked In outreach to prospective construction industry clients.
Qualify potential clients, identifying areas where the client's software solutions can deliver value.
Book a minimum number of Discovery calls per month with qualified prospects, adhering to clear performance targets.
Build and manage a pipeline of high-quality leads, ensuring continuous lead generation that supports the client's growth objectives.
Collaborate closely with the Account Executive to ensure smooth handovers of qualified leads and to receive ongoing feedback to refine your approach.
Maintain accurate records in Hub Spot CRM, tracking activities, client information, and meeting notes.
Coaching and Development: As part of this role, CAPR Services will provide structured coaching on crucial SDR skills, including: Cold Calling Techniques: Mastering the art of engaging prospects from the first call.
Effective Lead Qualification: Understanding clients' needs and identifying high-potential leads.
Pipeline Management: Building a robust pipeline that supports consistent lead flow.
Multi-channel Outreach: Leveraging calls, emails, and social media to maximise touch points.
Growth Path: This role comes with a clear path for advancement: hitting outlined targets opens opportunities to progress to a Senior SDR role within 6 months, with the potential to move to an Associate Account Executive position within 12 months.
Qualifications: Experience in customer service or sales is essential.
Experience in the technology and/or construction sectors is highly desired.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse clients.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Proficiency with Hub Spot CRM or similar tools.
Compensation: AUD $70,000 Base Salary + Super, with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $110,000.
