Business Development Manager | HYBRID | HIGH SALARY PACKAGE$100,000 – $130,000 per year + Super + Comm + Car
Tektalent has partnered with our client, a global technology company that is young, thriving, and culturally strong.
This is a permanent opportunity for a Lead Business Development Manager to target prospects in the assigned industry vertical, specializing in the Student Accommodation & Social Affordable Housing Vertical.
Your key focus will be to develop and execute strategies and actions to achieve targeted outcomes for this assigned Industry Vertical.
This Lead BDM will work closely with the wider sales team (Business Development Managers and Regional Sales Managers) to achieve the targeted plan for the Industry Segment.
The Lead BDM is directly responsible for targeting, acquiring, and maintaining key large Enterprise Accounts and Opportunities for the vertical of Student Accommodation & Affordable Housing.
This includes prospecting and lead generation through various means, such as hunting for the assigned territory and/or target vertical industry segment, with the aim to generate a healthy pipeline.

Role Responsibilities New Business Development: Play a crucial role in expanding the company's presence in the respective vertical in Oceania.
Actively acquire new enterprise-level prospects, grow existing key accounts, influence and support the sales team to identify new business opportunities, develop relationships with key stakeholders, negotiate partnerships, and achieve sales targets and market share growth.Hunting: Lead generation through cold outreach, email, client visits, and new business prospecting.Market Analysis and Strategy: Understand local market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and develop strategic plans to capitalize on opportunities and overcome challenges.Pricing Management: Collaborate with category management and Business Unit Management to set competitive pricing for the products sold in the respective vertical in Oceania.Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, including government authorities, industry associations, technology and sales partners, suppliers, and customers.Conduct sales, product, and technical presentations/briefings to end-users.Attend trade shows and events.Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including end customers, sales partners, and influencers such as architects and consultants.Your Key Attributes & Experience Needed 3+ years experience in a BDM/Sales role focused on B2B, enterprise sales, and growing territories.Experience selling into Student Accommodation or Affordable Housing customers or Education in either the private or public sector is a non-negotiable requirement.Strong experience in hunting new business/new business development.Experience or exposure in selling technology/IT solutions (Hardware, Software, SaaS, IT services, IT infrastructure, energy management, telecommunications/wireless networks).Commercially minded and driven.Ability to hunt new business and generate a pipeline.Ability to follow the full sales cycle and close deals.Driven by a highly lucrative commission scheme.Work hybrid and manage your day and calendar based on outcomes.Complete ownership of the Oceania territory for the specific vertical across the enterprise space.Work for a global multi-million-dollar business experiencing growth and responsible for delivering world-class projects within the electronic security space.Sell a large product suite focused on technology security and access solutions for clients of all shapes and sizes.Join a team of refined and polished experts who are consultative and tenured sales professionals.Year-on-year growth business with headcount growth of 15% per year.Lucrative commission structure, high base salary + car allowance.Very strong training and development provided.If you are an experienced Business Development Manager, please apply, and we will review your application as soon as possible.
