Facilities Officer Corporate Services Permanent Full Time LGO Level 4 $83,457 plus superannuation Location: Maryborough At Fraser Coast Regional Council, our people are our most important asset and central to achieving our purpose of Building Better Communities Together.
What we are looking for: We're looking for someone with extensive experience in the building industry to join our team as a Facilities Officer.
You'll be responsible for coordinating and supervising the facilities maintenance and minor capital works requirements for Council buildings and facilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a number of exciting properties, projects, and gain satisfaction from seeing positive outcomes in our built environment.
What your day will look like: Preparing Asset Condition and Building Inspection Reports for buildingsPreparing scope of worksCompleting detailed inspectionsPreparing and implementing annual maintenance schedulesSupervising contractors, tradespersons, and other service providersPreparing Quotation and Tender documentsWhat you'll need for success: You will have a number of years of experience in the building industry with exposure to project and facilities management.
You'll be happy working in a role that will see you office bound at times, then out on sites involved at others.
This role will require you to be on site and at times, some heavy lifting, so a degree of physical fitness is required.
