**F&B Assistant (M/F/x)**: **as of now - fulltime - in 8020 Graz, Austria**: To support our team at **a&o Hostel Graz,** we are **looking for YOU**: - a hard-working and independent **F&B Assistant**(M/F/x). We are also happy to consider applicants with knowledge from/as: bakery, bake shop, gas station shop, McDonald, Subway, barista, cook, kitchen assistants, takeaway, bar staff, snack bar or career changers who enjoy giving our guests a special experience**.** **OUR OFFER**: - You will be paid according to the collective agreement and of course receive a **13th and 14th salary**: - ** 75% - 90% discount on private accommodation in all a&o hostels**(depending on company affiliation) - attractive corporate benefits such as discounted leisure activities and events - subsidized language courses - Subsidized **company pension scheme**: - ** 100% coverage of your public transport costs** (job ticket) - support for your further education in the form of various trainings - Of course we provide** drinks, fruit and vegetables** on a daily basis - and as hostel staff you can join your team for the meals served at the buffet - Seniority bonuses in the form of **cash bonuses** and **additional vacation days** **YOUR JOB**: - You will be employed in the in kitchen and bar and will actively participate in the day business; including the daily cleaning work - Preparation and taking care of the breakfast-buffet are also amongst your tasks - Imposing quality - and HACCP-standards in kitchen and bar is your responsibility - Pantry and stocktaking are your responsibility: you check food - and beverage-storage and inventory and order new products if necessary - You put the goods away on delivery - You draw up the menu for our dinner-buffet - You supervise scheduling for kitchen - and bar-crew **YOUR PROFILE**: - Reliability, quality awareness and flexibility are only some of your core characteristics - Regarding your work, you show a strong willingness to commit and to work independently - You are a hands-on doer who tackles and spreads good spirits even in stressful situations - Some experience in gastronomy or hospitality are desirable, but not a must - Your German and English skills are good, knowledge of other languages is an advantage **Are you that good-humored, service minded and hospitable person we are looking for?** Xenia Remp General Manager More about a&o hostels: As **Europe's largest Hostel chain** a&o is simple, diverse and always with a smile.
