Payment Accounts Reconciliation Analyst

Responsibilities
- Reconciliation and control of company transactional flow: examine the money going in and out of the organization and making sure it is recorded and processed correctly
- Prepare and formalize balance sheet and inventory reconciliations following Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Assist and support in regular audit requests and prepare ad-hoc analysis upon request of stakeholders
- Analyse current financial business processes, identify best practices and potetial business improvements
- Participate in accounting projects related to process and system changes
- Propose changes to processes, drive automation and efficiency for the tasks assigned
- Preparation of weekly cash flow analysis and analytical reports/variance

Competencies
- Deep knowledge of transactional and international payment processes
- Proficiency in working with a large amount of financial data and create useful summaries and visualization
- Strong exposure to Accounting and Finance concepts, combined with an understanding of financial systems/accounting processes to ensure delivery of timely and accurate results
- Sarbanes-Oxley experience in Accounting is considered as a strong advantage

- Proactive, Independent, goal-oriented and self-motivating personality
- Excellent communication skills, especially when working with different target groups within an international environment
- Excellent English language skills (oral & written)

Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent working experience in the area of Finance, Accounting or Statistics/Mathematics
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in Finance, Card Payments or Treasury departments
- Knowledge of world-wide transactional flows and international method of payments
- Hands on practise with VBA and SQL is considered as strong advantage
