Business Development Manager

We’re partnering with a growing private credit fund looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to originate and structure real estate loans across both construction and investment finance. Working closely with senior management, you’ll be responsible for driving new lending opportunities through an established network of brokers, developers and investors, with deal sizes typically ranging up to $50 million. The ideal candidate will have proven origination experience within property or structured finance and strong credit structuring and analysis capability, someone who can take a deal from initial contact through to close. Key Responsibilities Originate new lending opportunities through broker and developer networks Assess and structure loans across a range of real estate asset classes Work with the credit team to prepare and present deals for approval Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and referral partners Contribute to portfolio growth and the ongoing success of a high‑performing, expanding fund About You Background in property, private credit, or commercial banking Strong origination track record with established broker relationships Solid understanding of credit structuring and risk analysis Comfortable working in a smaller, growing business where you’ll have genuine impact Self‑driven, commercially minded, and relationship‑focused This is a great opportunity to join a nimble and growing fund at an exciting stage of expansion, with the chance to have real influence and visibility across the full deal process.
