Enjoy music, film and sport? Make friends with a chatty young man Make a meaningful difference and strengthen community inclusion by becoming a Leisure Buddy. This is an exciting volunteer opportunity to make a genuine connection with a young man in his 30s who needs a friend. He's bubbly and sociable with diverse interests and talents - from making films and releasing his own music on Spotify, to cooking, football, going to the gym, and shopping. We're looking for a friendly, patient and empathic male volunteer with great communication skills and a sense of humour. No previous experience required Location based around Richmond area. This is a highly flexible volunteer role; matches are based on shared interests, personality and location. We ask that volunteers commit for a minimum of 6 months for 1-3 hours on a fortnightly basis. Make a new friend, have fun, develop your skills, and provide meaningful social connection to someone who needs it. Job Details Category: Disability Services Commitment: Regular - more than 6 months Type Of Work: Disability Support, IT & Web Development, Music & Entertainment, Sport & Physical Activity Time Required: Fortnightly outings for 1-2 hours on weekends or other days as arranged by mutual agreement between volunteer and buddy.
