Service recognition awards Access to Employee Assistance Program Internal opportunities About You In order to be successful in this role you will need: Previous Chef experience in a similar environment Commercial Cookery cert 3 essential Proven experience in electronic purchase ordering and cost management Proven experience in planning and developing menus Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously Ability to prep and organize ahead HACCP knowledge essential The Role As the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and cost-effective food service, with the smooth day‑to‑day operation of a commercial kitchen. Leading the team whilst the Head Chef is away. Food preparation and presentation Adhere to all HSE policies, procedures & safe food handling practices. Adherence to dietary requirements (allergies, special requests) Management of stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking Maintaining a clean kitchen, equipment and utensils Create dishes of high quality that will nourish and delight our guests. Fast, effective service provided with a smile Assist in overseeing all kitchen employees, including training and performance development.
