Let's talk about this role
As the Director of Corporate Relationships within the nib Corporate Health team, you will lead the Corporate Account Management function for GU Health; evolving, growing and maintaining our reputation as a leading Corporate PHI provider.
It requires a collaborative working relationship with key business unit heads across the nib Group, ensuring business continuity and knowledge transfer across all key teams.
The major business outcomes from this position are:Ensure strong working relationships are maintained with all stakeholder groups (internal and external)Close collaboration with the Director Corporate Business Development - to optimise organic growth opportunities, as well as provide critical market intelligence to help evolve the Corporate Health value propositionDevise and implement strategies to evolve and develop the Corporate Account Management teamTo recruit, manage, motivate, and develop a team of account management and business development professionalsEffective P&L management
Let's talk about you
The successful candidate for this role must have 10+ years' experience in both an operational people leadership and B2B relationship management capacity, along with 5+ years of exposure to Private Health Insurance.
You consider yourself a natural leader with proven experience empowering and developing teams within a high performance culture where constant change and growth are considered the 'norm'. You're commercially minded with strong negotiation skills and are able to build and engage in meaningful relationships at all business levels both internally and externally.
Furthermore you will have:Understanding of commercial analysis of client underwriting experience & pricing of renewal contract termsThe ability to operate autonomouslyExtensive experience in Private Health InsuranceStrong negotiation and people management skillsAble to travel at short notice
