Business Development Manager

We’re looking for a dynamic, commercially driven Business Development Manager (NSW) to join our high‑performing team and help drive our next phase of growth. In this key role, you’ll represent a brand trusted for its technical excellence and innovation—building meaningful relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and delivering smart, sustainable lighting and control solutions across the specification, special contractor, and council sectors . What You’ll Do: Lead Market Growth: Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across NSW. Be the Trusted Advisor: Build and maintain strong relationships with specifiers, contractors, councils, and end-users. Drive Strategic Sales: Execute consultative sales strategies that deliver long‑term partnerships and market growth. Collaborate & Deliver: Work closely with internal teams and channel partners to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction. Shape the Future: Contribute insights and strategy to strengthen Schréder’s position as an industry innovator. What You'll Bring: Must have previous lighting experience. Strong across Specifications, Special Contractors, and Councils. Calm under pressure with a professional, consultative sales style. Relationship‑focused approach with a track record of building trusted networks. Experience managing contracts and navigating complex commercial agreements. Proven success with Utility‑based or Government clients. Technical industry background—ideally in lighting, communications, or IoT solutions. A strategic mindset with the ability to problem‑solve, influence, and open new opportunities. A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment yet operates effectively with autonomy. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. A globally respected brand with a legacy of innovation and sustainability. Autonomy & impact: Shape your own strategy and territory.
