Overview Join to apply for the Business Development Manager role at Motion Asia Pacific . This position is based in Sydney and focuses on the growth and development of hydraulic component sales. You will be responsible for growing new business while maintaining and servicing existing accounts. Responsibilities Establish a thorough understanding of customers' business needs Plan and present tailored solutions based on customer needs Prospect for new customers and convert this to increased business Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions Establish and build solid relationships with all customers Maintain extensive knowledge of the market and product solutions we can provide Collaboratively engage with internal colleagues to meet customer needs Prepare regular sales performance reports and business calls Prepare tenders and quotes in line with our pricing policy Participate in setting annual sales budgets Achieve budgeted sales targets and gross profit margins Regional and overnight travel may be required About You – Skills And Experience Previous experience in the industrial or agricultural hydraulic industries is essential Previous experience with hydraulic components sales and system design is highly desirable Strong sales skills with commitment to a high level of customer service Able to undertake regular country travel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and solid organisational skills Resilient with exceptional relationship management skills Proven track record in achieving sales targets and KPIs Ability to communicate with engineering, maintenance and service-oriented clientele Why us?
