The Character Group, located in the South East Perth Metro area, has an outstanding reputation for producing high-quality cabinetry and stonework for WA’s residential construction and private market. We are recognised for our strong commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and providing exceptional service to our builder clients and homeowners. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a role that will be tailored to the successful candidate’s strengths — either Client Liaison, Quotes Officer, or a hybrid of both. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and eager to grow within a supportive and dynamic environment. About the Role Reporting to the Office Supervisor/Senior Team Leaders this position will involve providing high-level customer service, administrative support, and/or estimating and quoting functions depending on experience and suitability. A strong emphasis will be placed on attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently within a busy office environment. Key Responsibilities (Depending on Position) Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email Manage end-to-end client requests, from purchase orders through to installation Maintain accurate electronic job files and internal tracking systems Liaise with internal and external stakeholders Handle client queries and complaints professionally Work to deadlines and manage changing priorities Ensure administrative accuracy and adherence to company processes Quotes Officer Duties Read and interpret builder plans and addenda Prepare accurate cabinet and stone quotes Review pricing, specifications, and revisions Follow up pricing in a consistent, professional manner Manage multiple quotes simultaneously Promote company image and build strong working relationships What We’re Looking For Positive attitude with willingness to learn Excellent phone manner and strong communication skills (written & verbal) Ability to read building plans (required for quoting; advantageous for client liaison) Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to prioritise workload and work within deadlines Initiative, motivation, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Access & Excel advantageous) Previous experience in the construction or cabinet-making industry is desirable Well-presented, reliable, and professional Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident Current driver’s licence What We Provide Friendly, positive work environment On-the-job training and ongoing support Opportunities for growth depending on strengths (quoting, client liaison, or both) Diversity of tasks Modern office and factory facilities Company uniform Free onsite parking How to Apply If you believe you hold the attributes required for this role and would like to join a team committed to excellence, please send your resume and cover letter to: ***************@charactergroup.com.au.
