We're partnering with a global Defence organisation to appoint a Defence Industry Engagement Partner / Business Development Manager who will play a key role in driving growth within the Navy and NSSG domains. This is an ideal role for someone with a Royal Australian Navy background who's ready to step into a commercially focused position. About the Role This position is about execution and taking strategies that have already been developed and bringing them to life in the market. The focus is on Navy engagement, industry partnerships, and capturing new business. Your responsibilities will include: Leveraging and expanding your Navy networks while building new industry partnerships. Collaborating with innovation and engineering design teams to understand new technologies and solutions - then taking them to market. Identifying and pursuing opportunities Driving capture activities aligned to long-term business initiatives in the Navy. Knowing when and who to partner with in the industry to deliver the right outcomes. About You We are seeking candidates with: A Royal Australian Navy background - ideally at LCDR level, or recently transitioned out of service. Strong understanding of Defence acquisition, sustainment, and NSSG operations The ability to translate innovative solutions into business opportunities. Proven success in building relationships with Navy stakeholders and Defence industry. Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance. Why This Role?
