As a Retail Accountant, supporting one of our key business units, you’ll play a key role in preparing management reports, reconciliations, BAS, unit statements, and tax calculations for a portfolio of funds. You’ll also help deliver year-end financial statements and ensure a smooth audit process, with a focus on process improvement. What you’ll be doing Prepare monthly results packs and analytical commentary for stakeholders. Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and signoffs. Prepare and analyse BAS returns using automated software. Prepare monthly unit statements and quarterly tax calculations. Manage short‑term cash positions, including bank reconciliations and journals. Assist with year‑end financial statements and audit coordination. Address ad‑hoc queries and provide accounting/tax guidance. Drive process and systems improvements within the team. Your point of difference – What you’ll bring to the team CA (or equivalent) qualification and minimum 2 years’ relevant experience. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and Excel skills (property industry/Yardi/CDM experience an advantage). Energy, ambition, and a passion for property. Strong team player with excellent time management and planning skills. Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders. Take ownership of deliverables and process improvements.
