Health & Safety Manager – Civil & HV Infrastructure (Transgrid) – Western Sydney & Regional NSW – $negotiable DOE + Super – 12‑month contract Atom Resources is partnering with a leading civil and electrical contractor to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Manager for a major Transgrid project. Our client delivers large‑scale underground power infrastructure, including trenching, cable installation and substation works across the NSW network. About the Role This role will embed you with the delivery team on a high‑profile transmission project, overseeing all civil works (trenching, cabling, backfill and reinstatement). You will take ownership of all project health, safety and environmental functions, ensuring that field operations meet client, legislative and internal WHS requirements across multiple work fronts. Key Responsibilities Lead day‑to‑day HSE management across trenching, cable installation and associated civil works Develop, review and implement SWMS, JHAs, risk assessments and project‑specific HSE plans Conduct regular site inspections, audits and behavioural safety observations Liaise with Transgrid HSE representatives and ensure compliance with client standards and permits Support and coach Site Supervisors, Engineers and Leading Hands on best‑practice safety behaviours Monitor subcontractor compliance, plant and equipment checks, and high‑risk work permits About You To be successful, you will bring: Strong exposure to trenching, underground services, cabling or transmission/distribution projects Detailed knowledge of NSW WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and high‑risk construction work Proven experience working alongside major clients (experience with Transgrid or similar a strong plus) Solid incident investigation and report writing capability (ICAM or similar desirable) Key Details Rate: $65–$85 per hour (DOE) + Super Engagement: 12‑month contract Location: Western Sydney For more information, please contact Jack Dargan at Atom Resources – Sydney Office ***) or email your updated CV to: ***********@atomresources.com.au. #J-18808-Ljbffr
