If this sounds like you, come and join us The Reward Lead will be responsible for owning and delivering the overall reward strategy, balancing both day-to-day operations and key project initiatives. This role ensures our reward programs remain competitive and aligned with business priorities. As Vocus continues to grow and navigate a period of significant change, there will be opportunities to lead new reward initiatives that support business transformation and employee experience. The position combines strategic input with hands‑on delivery, making it ideal for someone who enjoys shaping solutions and driving outcomes in a dynamic environment. This role reports directly to the GM – People Operations, with 1 direct report. Responsibilities The key responsibilities of the role are listed below. These may change in response to your personal growth and business demands. Drive the Vocus reward strategy: Lead the development, execution and continuous improvement of the overall reward strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives, market competitiveness and organisational growth. Manage cyclical activity: Plan, manage and execute all cyclical reward activities, including annual remuneration reviews, bonus programs, salary survey participation and WGEA reporting, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance. Reward initiatives and projects: Lead the delivery of strategic reward projects, such as contributing to the development of a new People & Culture strategy and enhancing the company’s existing bonus plan. Benchmarking and job architecture: Benchmark roles across the organisation to ensure alignment with internal career structures and the overall reward strategy. Review and refine benchmarking methodologies as required, manage job classifications and maintain ownership of the job structure within the HRIS (Dayforce) to ensure consistency and integrity. Support organisational change: Provide reward expertise during business acquisitions, mergers and restructures, ensuring seamless integration of reward frameworks. Skills Strong understanding of benchmarking methodologies; experience with Mercer IPE would be advantageous. Participation in reward transformation projects, such as introducing pay grades, supporting business restructuring programs and delivering bonus plans. Experience preparing Board papers and presentations for executives. Knowledge of executive remuneration would be advantageous. Understanding of basic HRIS design, information risk and security, with experience running remuneration reviews in an HRIS system. Knowledge of Dayforce HRIS would be advantageous.
