About the role Be our hunter . Unlock the next wave of growth by onboarding new clients, channels, and partnerships. Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll identify new business opportunities, foster strategic partnerships, and drive revenue & expand market share across the retail sectors (Pharmacy, supermarket, and grocery), corporate health, and other sectors in Australia. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the retail industry, including retail channels, distributors & wholesalers, as well as strong relationship-building skills to engage with key stakeholders, clients, and partners. What you’ll do Build a targeted new-business pipeline and execute strategies to expand market share and achieve sales targets. Identify market needs and potential areas for growth. Prospect, pitch, and close the opportunity; negotiate contracts & terms to secure new business. Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including grocery, pharmacies, wholesalers, convenience market, retail channels, etc. Coordinate onboarding and handovers: NPD/clients onboarding, forecast, targets, POS kit, training & handover. Develop and executor range/listing, visibility, penetration and growth to ensure high-quality execution in every retail store and growth. Collaborate with the internal team to build business cases. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet objectives. Able to travel nationally as required. Attributes Excellent selling abilities: strong communication, negotiation, and objection management skills. Success in building and maintaining customer relationships. Highly driven and motivated to succeed with a growth mindset. Solid understanding of commercial principles and trade. Confident in presentations and pitches, including cold calling. Qualifications & Experience At least +3 years of experience in Business Development Management (preferably in FMSG), or Sales or retail Category (brand or vendor side). Experience working directly with major Australian retailers is essential. AndBachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy or a related field. Growing business, and visible impact.
