Overview Overview: Our client is seeking someone to join thier team as a Senior Business Development Manager and play a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships in the Christmas and Year-Round Experiences market. Reporting directly to the Group Account Director, this position offers a unique opportunity to work with high-end retail, commercial property, and council clients, contributing to a creative and dynamic environment with a passionate and supportive team. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong client relationships with key decision-makers in high-end retail, commercial property, and council sectors. Maximise sales from existing clients through the development of innovative concepts and solutions. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, from lead qualification to project delivery. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and business pipelines to achieve allocated sales and GP budget. Act as the primary client interface throughout project lifespans, troubleshooting and responding to client needs promptly. Conduct site scoping activities, including property assessments and gathering technical information. Attend site installations/dismantles as required, including overnight work when necessary. Travel within Australia and New Zealand to meet clients and attend industry events. Prepare and deliver client presentations, including assembling quotes and proposals. Identify and develop sponsorship and brand integration opportunities for projects. Develop, maintain, and implement a thorough understanding of the company’s strategies and objectives. Network with potential and current clients by attending industry events. Candidate Requirements Exceptional communicator with very high presentation and sales skills, both written and verbal. Strong negotiator with the ability to apply learned sales strategies effectively. Experience managing complex major projects and multiple client projects simultaneously. Highly organized with excellent planning and administration skills. Strong business acumen and creative flair. High level of IT literacy with experience in Microsoft Office, Sage Evolution, Smartsheet, Trello, Hubspot, and LinkedIn. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, sharing information and accepting guidance when needed. Character Profile We are seeking a results-driven individual with a proven track record in sales and business development. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and thrive in a collaborative team environment. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are essential.
