We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join a leading company in the Environmental Monitoring industry. This role focuses on driving growth and building strong client relationships in the Greater Sydney area. This SME organisation is a trusted name in the Life Science industry, delivering innovative solutions and services. Description Identify and develop new business opportunities within the environmental monitoring sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective customers. Collaborate with the Sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management. Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities in Sydney and beyond. Profile A successful Business Development Manager should have: Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in the Life Sciences / Environmental industry. Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Self-motivation and a results-oriented mindset. A valid driver's licence for travel to client meetings in Sydney and surrounding areas. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
