Service Co-Ordinator - Sydney or Brisbane Smartech Systems Oceania Pty Ltd – Regents Park NSW SMARTECH Business Systems is seeking an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Field Service Coordinator to support our national field operations team. In this fast-paced role, you’ll be the central point of coordination—ensuring our technicians are scheduled efficiently, customers receive timely updates, and all service activities run smoothly from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and dispatch field technicians for service calls, installations, and preventative maintenance. Prioritise tasks based on urgency, SLAs, and resource availability. Monitor technician locations, job progress, and daily workflows. Create, update, and close work orders in the service management system. Ensure job details, notes, and documentation are accurate and up to date. Validate technician time entries, parts usage, and completion reports. Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and service updates. Provide ETAs, rescheduling options, and daily progress updates. Escalate urgent issues to service managers for resolution. Arrange parts, tools, equipment, and site access for upcoming jobs. Liaise with suppliers, warehouses, and couriers as required. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permits, and site requirements. Track key metrics including job completion, response times, and SLAs. Prepare daily and weekly scheduling reports for management. Support the invoicing process by verifying job data and customer entitlements. What You’ll Bring Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Experience with job scheduling or dispatch systems. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Basic understanding of field service, technical services, or maintenance (advantageous). Experience & Requirements Previous experience in field service coordination, scheduling, dispatch, or similar roles preferred. Experience in industries such as parcel lockers, logistics, machinery, HVAC, electrical, IT services, or facility maintenance is beneficial. Strong computer literacy, particularly with MS Office and service management platforms. Ability to work within customer SLAs and strict operational timelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
