An exciting opportunity exists for a Legal Executive Assistant to join our Dispute Resolution practice, providing dedicated support to our Competition team on a 17 month Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you will provide high-level assistance to a team of senior legal professionals known for their expertise, dedication and collaborative approach. You will be part of a supportive environment, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and contributing to the team’s overall success. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised. As a valued member of the team, your main responsibilities will include: File management, including opening and closing files, and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems Email and inbox management Proactive diary management, including organising meetings and sending calendar appointments Drafting correspondence and preparing documents Liaising with clients and stakeholders Processing invoices for third party payors Coordinating monthly billing Reconciling monthly corporate expenses using Concur Coordinating meetings and travel arrangements General administrative tasks and other ad hoc duties as required What you need The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years legal secretarial experience and a strong willingness to learn. An interest or experience in AI would be highly regarded. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role as an Executive or Legal Assistant within a litigation or personal injury environment and demonstrate the following: Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills Resilience and a strong commitment to excellence Self-motivation and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment Strong understanding of MS Office applications Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities and deadlines A team orientated mindset with a focus on building strong working relationships High level of accuracy and attention to detail Initiative and a genuine desire to contribute to team success How to apply We encourage applications from people of all ages, abilities, cultural backgrounds, genders (including trans or gender diverse), LGBTQ+ people and those with carer responsibilities.
