The Victorian State Government retains sole responsibility for road access, infrastructure and safety.* Annual salary range: Commensurate with experience* Employment type: Permanent / Ongoing* Usual work location: 180 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne / Hybrid**About the opportunity**We are seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist with 8+ years of experience to lead strategic product marketing initiatives across VicRoads and Custom Plates. This is a pivotal role for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, operates with autonomy, and delivers measurable outcomes.**You will:*** Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and evolved products.* Craft compelling product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions for B2B and B2C audiences.* Enable Sales and Service teams through sales collateral, pitch decks, and training content.* Collaborate with Product Managers on launch planning, feature updates, and promotional campaigns.* Use data and insights to monitor adoption, optimise campaigns, and improve ROI.* Represent Marketing in cross-functional programs and mentor junior team members.This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, requiring a proactive leader who can manage complex projects with minimal oversight.**About you**You are a highly capable marketing professional with:* 8+ years’ experience in marketing, including product marketing and go-to-market strategy.* A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.* Proven success in multi-channel campaigns, sales enablement, and customer lifecycle programs.* Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Service Delivery teams.* An ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.* A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor and influence across teams.**Our culture**Innovation powers progress, but it doesn’t come without support.
