Real Estate & Property Sales / Agents Sydney Permanent / Full Time Posted : 29 / 11 / 2025 $120,000-$140,000 p / a Property Network of Australia is seeking a Business Development Manager to join a dynamic and growing retail property management firm, known for its owner‑centric approach and strong reputation in retail asset management. We are seeking an individual with previous or current experience in business development within the property industry, with a focus on growing asset management portfolios and building client relationships. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging asset owners across the Shopping Centre, Childcare, Service Station / QSR & Large Format asset classes, converting leads, and nurturing relationships to secure new management appointments. You will leverage a substantial internal database, execute targeted outreach, and collaborate closely with the leadership team to refine business development strategy and messaging. Key Duties & Responsibilities : Identify and engage owners of targeted retail assets for new management opportunities Convert cold and warm leads into management appointments through structured outreach Utilise and nurture relationships within an extensive internal landlord database Conduct cold calling, networking, and lead meetings with potential clients Provide market intelligence and feedback to support business growth strategy Collaborate with leadership to refine business development approach and represent the brand The ideal candidate will have : Background in retail property management, leasing, or investment sales Proven business development or client‑facing experience in the property industry Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Commercial acumen, professionalism, and ability to represent a premium brand Self‑motivation, resilience, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively If you think this role is for you and you have the required experience (as detailed above) then please do not hesitate to contact Eddie Reed by submitting your CV and a covering letter and they will be in touch with more information on the role and our client.
