Residential Construction Project Manager Milk Chocolate Brisbane, QLD A$110,000-$125,000 p/a Hybrid Posted 1 day ago Residential Construction Project Manager Brisbane, QLD (Ideally North Side) Milk Chocolate is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee a range of residential projects — from cosmetic renovations and extensions through to full structural builds and new homes. You'll manage active Queensland build projects while also delivering client-side project management for residential projects nationally . This is a Brisbane-based remote role initially, with the view to transition into a hybrid Brisbane office-based role as the business continues to grow. This role uniquely blends client-side project management, acting as the client’s representative, with hands-on project delivery, working closely with our QLD-based builder for projects in Brisbane to maintain operational efficiency and uphold exceptional construction standards. This position offers room for growth, with the opportunity to build and lead a team as the business expands. Initially, you'll need to dive in and get your hands dirty, managing every aspect of your projects to deliver excellence. What You'll Do Manage end-to-end delivery of residential construction projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Develop detailed scopes of work, budgets, and construction programs using Buildxact . Work closely with our licensed builder , who acts as the on-site manager , to oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure seamless communication and delivery. Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, and trades to deliver projects efficiently and safely. Lead tenders, evaluate quotes, and manage contract documentation. Conduct site visits and occasional local client meetings to maintain visibility and strengthen relationships. Contribute to refining internal systems, processes, and supplier networks to support ongoing growth. Skills & Qualifications Qualification in Building and Construction Management (Diploma/Degree). 4+ years of experience in construction project management. Candidates must have specific experience in residential construction project management. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Buildxact). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Current white card, car, and driver’s licence. A proactive mindset and the ability to present confidently to stakeholders. Australian work rights are mandatory for this position.
