State Business Manager, Independents SA Mondelēz International empowers people to snack right in over 150 countries around the world. Mondelez Australia is seeking an experienced and dynamic State Manager to drive growth across our Independents customers in South Australia. This role could sit in South Australia or be based in Melbourne Head Office with 2x days per month travel to Adelaide. About the Role This is an initial 12-month contract. The role will use your deep understanding of our categories and brands to sell and expand current customers’ portfolios. In this role, you develop promotional pricing structures to fit with customer needs and create new business opportunities. Responsibilities Responsible for developing and successfully implementing the commercial plan strengthen and expand Mondelēz International’s position with Independent customers by preparing, negotiating and executing the business plans Responsible for the coordination between the customer and Mondelēz International internal functions Accountable for maintaining and developing strategic growth plans for Independent customers with a focus on portfolio management, listings, distribution and effective promotion and visibility Build and develop strong category partnerships Manage pricing and forecast accuracy in conjunction with supply chain function Together with cross functional colleagues evaluate, plan & execute appropriate promotional and in store visibility Monitor, analyze and report on market developments and competitor developments Qualifications A strong background in professional selling, preferably within the FMCG sector. Bonus points for Independent retailers Exceptional negotiation and selling skills, coupled with strong financial acumen and commercial savvy The ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships, influencing outcomes and driving mutual success Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of facilitating effective two-way communications A collaborative spirit, eager to contribute to a "Performance driven, Values led" team culture Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline are preferred Applications will be reviewed across December 2025 and January 2026 Additional Information No Relocation support available Business Unit Summary At Mondelez International, our mission is to provide consumers with the right snack, for the right moment, made in the right way.
