About the Role Mondelez Australia is seeking an experienced and dynamic State Manager to drive growth across our Independent customers in South Australia. This role may be based in Adelaide or at the Melbourne Head Office with two days per month travel to Adelaide and is an initial 12-month contract. Responsibilities Develop and implement commercial plans to strengthen and expand Mondelez International's position with Independent customers, preparing, negotiating and executing business plans. Coordinate between customers and Mondelez International internal functions. Maintain and develop strategic growth plans for Independent customers, focusing on portfolio management, listings, distribution and effective promotion and visibility. Build and develop strong category partnerships. Manage pricing and forecast accuracy in conjunction with supply-chain function. Evaluate, plan and execute appropriate promotional and in-store visibility initiatives with cross‑functional colleagues. Monitor, analyse and report on market and competitor developments. Qualifications Strong background in professional selling, preferably within the FMCG sector; bonus points for experience with Independent retailers. Exceptional negotiation and selling skills, coupled with strong financial acumen and commercial savvy. Ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships, influencing outcomes and driving mutual success. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of facilitating effective two‑way communication. Collaborative spirit, eager to contribute to a performance‑driven, values‑led team culture. Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or a related discipline are preferred. Applications will be reviewed across December and January No relocation support available.
