Web & Martech Developer

Overview We are looking for a Web & Martech Developer to own the day‑to‑day development on contourclinics.com.au and ilumae.com.au, and to connect these sites to our core marketing stack. This is a front‑end and CMS‑led role across WordPress and Shopify. You will build and maintain modular, marketing‑friendly pages, fix issues quickly, and implement tracking and CRO changes requested by the marketing and SEO team. Candidates must demonstrate experience in custom theme development for WordPress platforms. A key part of the job is integrations – especially API and webhook based work with Dapple OS (our bookings/CRM platform) and related tools – so that leads, bookings and form data flow cleanly between systems. Unlike pure maintenance roles, this position also owns the engineering side of CRO and tracking. You will build high‑converting landing pages, implement structured tests, and ensure GA4, GTM and marketing pixels are reliable so that campaign performance can be measured accurately. You will be expected to spot problems and propose better ways to deploy changes, not just complete tickets. There is a clear growth path into a more senior Web & Martech role as the team and stack evolve. Key Responsibilities Website Development (WordPress & Shopify) Build, edit and optimise pages on WordPress (Contour Clinics) and Shopify (Ilumaé) in line with brand, SEO and compliance guidance. Rebuild hard‑coded pages into modular templates so marketing can self‑serve minor content changes. Fix mobile responsiveness, video and layout issues within agreed timeframes. Martech and API Integrations Own the integration layer between WordPress, Shopify, Dapple OS and the wider tech stack. Set up and maintain API/webhook connections, handle errors and document the flows. Build and maintain API connections for new tools or campaigns, including authentication, error handling and data validation. Implement tracking, events and pixels via GTM/GA4 and other ad platforms so campaigns are fully attributable. Support SEO and paid media agencies by implementing technical changes, schema, redirects and site speed improvements. Support marketing automations that rely on website events or Dapple data. CRO and Campaign Support Build high‑converting landing pages and campaign pages for treatments, memberships and seasonal offers. Implement on‑page CRO elements from briefs (CTAs above the fold, structured FAQs, trust signals, exit paths). Work with marketing to run simple A/B or split URL tests using our chosen tools and report the results back in a way that non‑technical stakeholders can understand. Quality Assurance & Governance Conduct structured QA testing to maintain site functionality, accessibility and performance. Ensure no change goes live without review from senior leadership where required. Ensure all digital touchpoints reflect Contour’s premium brand standards and Ilumaé’s luxury positioning. Adhere to standard web development security and privacy protocols. Document processes, integrations and code to enable smooth knowledge transfer to internal or external teams. Skills & Experience 3–4+ years In web development in a marketing, e‑commerce or agency environment. Demonstrated experience integrating websites with third‑party platforms and CRMs through REST APIs or webhook‑based integrations. Experience working with any modern bookings or CRM platform is preferred. Proven experience consuming APIs and working with webhooks to connect websites to CRMs, booking systems or marketing platforms. Comfortable diagnosing and fixing tracking issues in GA4/GTM. Excellent written communication and ability to follow detailed briefs. Experience with CRO tools such as VWO, Optimizely or similar, and running structured A/B tests. Experience with performance optimisation, CDNs, caching and security on WordPress. Nice to have (not essential) Experience working with healthcare, regulated industries or premium consumer brands. Experience collaborating with multiple agencies (SEO, paid media, creative). Permanent, full‑time position Sydney based hybrid role (in office for collaboration and testing, remote by agreement) Office attendance is required 1‑2 days per week for collaboration and team activities.
