Customer Service Representative - ARH Greater Western Sydney Ready to be the calm voice that saves the day (and maybe a pet’s life) when everything feels chaotic? We’re growing fast at our purpose-built hospital in Greater Western Sydney and need more legends on the phones. If you love helping people, adore animals, and can keep your cool when emotions are running high, this is the role for you. About the role Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with genuine care and efficiency Booking specialist consultations, emergency admissions, and follow-up appointments Turning enquiries into confirmed bookings by confidently (and warmly) explaining how specialist care can change everything Guiding clients through admissions, cost estimates, and pet insurance claims Securely processing phone payments Liaising with our emergency, surgery, medicine, and nursing teams to keep communication seamless and patients safe You’ll Be The Kind Of Person Who Can Stay unflappable when a pet owner is in tears or a vet is in a rush Multitask like a pro without losing accuracy or warmth Build instant rapport over the phone Bounce back after tough calls and still bring positivity to the next one What You Bring Proven experience in a high-volume customer service, contact centre, or reception role Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail – especially when emotions are high Empathy, emotional resilience, and a naturally warm phone manner A positive, solutions-focused attitude and eagerness to learn Previous veterinary, medical, or animal-related experience is a bonus (but definitely not essential – we’ll teach you everything you need) What We Give Back Secure full-time or part-time hours on a fair, rotating roster that includes evenings, weekends, and public holidays Competitive hourly rate + penalty rates where applicable + super Comprehensive training and ongoing support from a leadership team that actually cares Real career progression within a growing national network A passionate, supportive team that celebrates every happy tail-wag home and every relieved pet parent The best feeling in the world: knowing your voice helped save or improve a pet’s life If you’re ready to bring your customer service superpowers to a team that’s making a genuine difference every single shift, we’d love to hear from you.
