Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community. Category Seniors & Aged Care Commitment Regular – more than 6 months Type Of Work Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care, Sport & Physical Activity Time Required We would be delighted to talk with you about a suitable day and time during the week between 10:00-11:30 and 1:30-4pm (for up to an hour Monday to Friday). Walking time will differ for each visit, our Volunteer Coordinator will guide you during your visits.
