We are a next-generation business development, placement agent, capital advisory and general fund services provider. We are seeking a digitally fluent, entrepreneurial BDM with a passion for innovative investment liquid and illiquid alternative strategies and the ability to build deep investor relationships in an increasingly tech-enabled wholesale private wealth/client market. Key Responsibilities Identify and assess new investment manager opportunities, with a focus on liquid and illiquid alternatives. Provide and interpret data-driven insights and analytics to enhance manager relationships and market positioning. Maintain and grow existing client relationships while progressively building own investor network. Leverage CRM, AI and automation tools to personalise outreach, track engagement, and optimise distribution efforts. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (working towards postgraduate studies advantageous) 5-7 years in funds management sales, client service, investment management, or consulting Experience in wholesale channels (private clients/wealth) and with platforms or consultants Pipeline management skills throughout the prospective investor/client service process Strong understanding of liquid and illiquid alternative strategies, multi-asset portfolio construction, and the regulatory/compliance landscape Awareness of sustainability, decarbonisation, and impact investing trends Knowledge of Microsoft suite of apps/software desirable Proficiency with Hubspot CRM, marketing automation, and analytics preferred Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, agents, and automated workflows. Experience using digital marketing, social media, and personalisation-at-scale strategies. Ability to interpret and communicate data-rich research and insights. Personal Attributes Strategic thinker with a global investment perspective. Strong communicator and presenter with excellent research and marketing collateral-creation skills. Ability to conduct initial outreach and develop deep relationships with investment managers and investors Independent, resourceful, and motivated by problem-solving. Enthusiastic about continuous learning/training and exploring new investment ideas and technologies.
