Business Development Manager – NSW Ultimate Security is growing fast, and we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help us shape the future of security in New South Wales. If you’re a natural sales champion who loves winning new business and building strong partnerships, this role is for you. You’ll work with guarding and manpower services while collaborating with our electronics team to deliver smarter, integrated solutions. Why Join Us? Tools of the trade: phone & laptop Ongoing training and career growth opportunities A chance to influence and lead in a dynamic, expanding company What you’ll do: Win New Business: Identify and engage high‑value clients, build and manage a qualified pipeline, prepare proposals and tenders, and leverage market insights to consistently secure guarding and manpower contracts while exceeding sales targets. Integration with Electronics: Spot opportunities for integrated solutions and liaise with the Electronics team for combined offerings. Collaboration & Reporting: Maintain CRM accuracy, provide timely reports, and work across Guarding, Electronics, Compliance, and Operations teams. Bid & Solutions Development: Design commercially viable guarding solutions, contribute to tenders, and assess risks. Lead from the Front: Represent Ultimate Security at meetings, presentations, and industry events. What you’ll bring: Proven Sales Expertise: 5+ years in security guarding sales or account management. Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of security personnel management and service delivery. Technical Know-How: Working knowledge of CCTV, alarms, and access control systems. Tender Experience: Proven experience preparing and winning tenders. Relationship Builder: Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Licensing: NSW Security Licence (minimum Class 2B) and current driver’s licence. Exposure to electronic security integration. Familiarity with Guardhouse, simPRO, or similar systems. Familiarity with ISO standards and audit processes (e.g. ASIAL, NECA). Background in managing large commercial or multi‑site accounts. Attributes Commercially minded and customer focused. Confident communicator with consultative selling skills. Self‑driven, disciplined, and results oriented. Collaborative and aligned with Ultimate Security’s culture of integrity and accountability.
