Marketing & Communications Coordinator (Indigenous Identified) Location: Kensington, NSW (flexible working arrangements) Employment Type: Full-Time (35-hour week) Remuneration: Level 7/8 (Broadbranded) from $113k + 17% superannuation & leave loading Key Information Open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants only under section 126 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW). Responsibilities Coordinate Indigenous marketing and communications initiatives aligned with Nura Gili’s strategic priorities and cultural values. Deliver timely, targeted, and cost-effective Indigenous student communications. Collaborate with Nura Gili leadership on program marketing, recruitment events, and initiatives. Monitor and evaluate communication activities, recommending improvements. Provide proactive advice on communication strategies and engagement channels. Ensure consistent application of Nura Gili and UNSW brand guidelines. Represent Indigenous student marketing and communications on committees or projects. Create and publish social media and web content, track metrics, and provide insights. Attend occasional meetings and events outside core hours, including weekends and regional/interstate travel. Demonstrate UNSW Code of Conduct and comply with health and safety policies. Qualifications Experience developing and evaluating marketing and communications strategies with measurable impact. Ability to distil complex information into clear messages for diverse audiences. Strong organisational and communication skills and flexibility to attend occasional events outside core hours. Proven ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders (Level 8). Creative approach to developing new marketing initiatives (Level 8). Understanding of sector trends and Indigenous higher education landscape (Level 8). Track record leading multi-channel campaigns and branding programs (Level 8).
