Senior Payroll Officer | Melbourne CBD | Global Biopharmaceutical Client Our client - a global biopharmaceutical leader is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to join their team in Melbourne CBD on a 6 month contract (potential for extension). This is a high impact role where you will act as a Payroll Subject Matter Expert, managing redundancy, termination processing, leave reconciliations and ensure compliance across multiple Enterprise and Individual Agreements. Base pay range A$65.00/hr - A$75.00/hr Responsibilities Act as a Payroll Subject Matter Expert Lead redundancy and termination processing, including leave reconciliations Identify process gaps, support audits and collaborate with Finance, HR and vendors to ensure seamless payroll operations Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and month‑end reporting Stay ahead of and update legislative/regulation changes Qualifications Bachelor's in HR, Accounting or Diploma in payroll 3-5 years end-to-end payroll experience in a medium to large organisation Strong knowledge of EA/IA redundancy calculations, taxation and compliance Experience with Workday, Kronos and PayGlobal Excellent analytical, communication and collaboration skills Please click APPLY or if you have any questions, please contact Shannon by email – Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Human Resources, Finance, and Health Care Provider Industries Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Human Resources Services, and Financial Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
