Working back-to-back with another HSEQ Advisor, you will oversee the management, compliance, coordination, monitoring, and implementation of all Health, Safety, and Environment requirements for the Appin Shaft contract. Key Responsibilities Drive improvements in safety and training across departments. Ensure compliance with Redpath's Management Operation Procedures (MOPs). Maintain and coordinate training needs analysis and documentation. Oversee environmental compliance requirements for the project. Lead workplace inspections and track participation levels. Deliver risk assessment and JSA training. Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and incident investigations. Provide expert advice on WHS legislative requirements. Support operations with risk management processes. Senior safety professional experience within the mining industry. Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent). Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (advantageous). Strong people management and communication skills. Knowledge of WHS and Workers' Compensation legislation. Detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
