We are now requiring an experienced and capable Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will support the achievement of Van Leeuwen Pipe & Tube objectives and strategies by ensuring that brand and product integrity, financial performance and operational standards are maintained. External Role Key Outcomes Safely, and profitably, sell and distribute Van Leeuwen products in various market segments. Work collaboratively with State and National teams to deliver on business strategy, in accordance with VLA’s policies and procedures. Establish and maintain relationships with customers by ensuring that the customer’s quality and service expectations are being met and exceeded. Duties and Responsibilities Organising planned calls for face‑to‑face visits with established customers and new potential clients. Responsible for the successful growth of the company’s portfolio within your territory. Meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals. Establish and build long-term business relationships that generate into sales. Plan and implement well‑structured strategies to achieve sales goals, as well as capture opportunities to expand the business in your territory. Experience Required A proven sales record in carbon steel pipe, flanges, fittings, and tubing markets would be preferred, but not essential. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Be able to build and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders, as well as recognising and securing new market opportunities.
