MDM & Data Catalogue Specialist WaterNSW is seeking an experienced MDM & Data Catalogue Specialist (full‑time, permanent) to join our team. Our Perks and Benefits Flexible working. And so much more What You’ll Do Implement processes, tools, and dashboards to monitor and enhance data quality and remediation. Define and enforce standards ensuring consistent, accurate, and complete master data across systems. Manage metadata, maintain data dictionaries, and support data discoverability and understanding. Design and deploy Master Data Management solutions to maintain data integrity and reliability. Work closely with data owners, users, and IT to resolve data issues and align business needs. Oversee and improve data governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to organisational standards. Prepare reports, metrics, and dashboards to communicate data quality progress and recommendations. Handle incidents and service requests as 3rd level support within agreed service levels. What We Are Looking For Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, e.g., bachelor’s degree in a Management Information Systems, Information Technology/Computer Sciences field. Relevant intermediate/advanced Azure Data certifications. Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection. Experience with technologies such as Power Platform, Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Purview, Power BI or similar tools. Strong hands‑on experience with Master Data Management (MDM) & Data Catalogue tools and frameworks. Current NSW Drivers Licence.
