For Senior Lawyer (EL1 and EL2): Provide expert legal advice and representation in complex legal matters. Lead and manage teams in delivering legal services to Commonwealth agencies. Develop strategies for handling significant legal issues that impact government and clients. Collaborate with other senior practitioners to coordinate and conduct cases involving complex legal issues. Engage in business development activities to contribute to the commercial success of the legal team. Mentor and develop junior lawyers and support staff. Ensure compliance with professional standards and legal service requirements. Maintain and enhance client relationships and support the delivery of innovative legal solutions. Education and Experience Information Entry in the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia or the roll of barristers and solicitors of the Supreme Court of a State or Territory. Generally, at least 1-4 years of relevant post-admission experience or equivalent legal experience and knowledge of the Commonwealth legal environment.
