Distributor & Business Development Manager Drive Growth. Build Partnerships. Own Results. We’re looking for a commercially driven, self-starting professional who can transform relationships into results. As the Distributor & Business Development Manager , you’ll own the commercial agenda with our key distributor partners, driving sales performance, unlocking new opportunities, and building sustainable profitability for That’s Amore Cheese. This role focuses on managing and expanding sales through our distributor network while identifying and driving new business opportunities across major groups and emerging channels. Combining strong relationship management with strategic sales execution and market development. Key Responsibilities 1. Distributor Relationship Management Build high-performing partnerships with existing distributors to deliver shared growth. Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to align on targets, pricing, product range, and promotional activity. Support distributors with sales tools, training, product knowledge and field time to drive engagement and performance. Drive accountability on targets, trade spend, and execution of KPIs. 2. Business Development Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across major groups, emerging channels, and untapped regions Develop and execute business growth plans, focusing on both volume and margin expansion. Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to deliver successful product launches and category initiatives. Own and deliver the sales and margin targets for your assigned portfolio. Negotiate trading terms and promotional programs that maximise ROI. Analyse sales and market data to identify growth opportunities and risks. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and call reporting within CRM systems. 4. Market & Category Insights Stay ahead of the curve — track market trends, competitor moves, and category shifts. Feed actionable insights back to internal teams to shape pricing, NPD, and innovation strategies. Champion the voice of the market inside TAC. About You Experience & Skills 5+ years in B2B commercial or distributor management roles, ideally within food, beverage, or FMCG. Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales and profitability targets. Strong negotiation and commercial acumen, you understand trade terms, margins, and category dynamics. Data-savvy: able to translate analytics into clear, actionable growth plans. Confident communicator who can influence at all levels, from warehouse floor to boardroom. Proficient in CRM and reporting tools; thrives on visibility and accountability. Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working autonomously. Why Join Us?
