Monson Offshore is an Australian-owned company providing shipping agency services to the offshore oil and gas industry. Our friendly and experienced personnel look after the diverse requirements of a variety of offshore vessels, working out of all Australian ports. We provide exceptional service to our clients, delivering efficient logistical solutions in short timeframes. You will be working within a small team and the requirements of the role include: Key Responsibilities Generating and issuing accurate invoices in a timely manner. Monitoring customer accounts and following up on outstanding payments. Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies. Reconciling and managing staff Credit Cards. Able to run fortnightly Payroll & prepare Payroll Tax returns when required. Assist with EOM functions and BAS/PAYG returns. Liaising with internal stakeholders, including the operational teams in our 3 branches, to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to debtors and creditors accounts. Various administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and record keeping. Skills Required Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in an Accounts Receivable/Payable role, preferably in Australia. This is not a graduate role. Solid understanding of accounting principles along with Job based accounting. Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook and other internet tools and applications. Previous experience with GreenTree desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work as part of a team, and willingness to collaborate and support other team members. Must have the right to work in Australia.
