This position is classified as a PACS Band 3 ($68,049 - $71,878 p.a) under the City of Kwinana's structured remuneration system. What's On Offer A fantastic opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified Horticulturalist who is passionate about working outdoors. As a Horticulturalist, you will be responsible for undertaking best‑practice horticulture and landscape establishment and maintenance for City of Kwinana parks and streetscapes. What You’ll Need Demonstrated practical experience with parks and garden maintenance and landscape development tasks; knowledge of amenity planting and common weed species. The ability to safely prepare and apply herbicides. Communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with an operational team working in public spaces and to address public queries as required. The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and report on work outputs as required. Cert III in Horticulture, or other relevant tertiary qualifications or experience. Current MR Class Licence, Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate, Safety Awareness Training – White Card, First Aid Certificate.
