Ground Services Officer Full-Time | Rotating roster including weekends, after-hours & on call Mildura Airport Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and reliable Ground Services Officer to join our Operations Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone hands‑on and practical to start a career in airport operations — maintaining airport grounds and facilities while progressing toward Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) accreditation. Key Responsibilities Carry out general grounds and garden maintenance across airside and landside areas. Assist with line‑marking, painting, and signage maintenance. Support workshop and equipment maintenance activities. Operate vehicles, ride‑on mowers, and small plant safely under supervision. Assist AROs with lighting checks, wildlife control, and inspections as training progresses. Report hazards and participate in toolbox and safety meetings. About You Hands‑on, reliable, and safety focused. Comfortable working outdoors and as part of a small team. Physically fit and willing to learn. Current manual Driver’s Licence (essential). Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card). Trade, horticultural, or maintenance background desirable. Must have valid Australian work rights or appropriate visa to work in Australia. Roster & Availability You will be required to participate in weekend and after‑hours, and on‑call rosters. The roster will involve weekend work and operate on a rotating schedule. Operational hours at Mildura Airport are from 05:30 to 21:30, and rostered shifts will fall within these hours.
