About the Role We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dynamic team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in a fast-paced kitchen focused on Japanese cuisine. You'll be working in a supportive setting that values creativity, quality, and work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard Managing day-to-day kitchen operations, including food prep, stock rotation, and waste minimisation Ensuring all dishes meet our quality and presentation standards Maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in line with health regulations Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed Assisting with menu development, seasonal specials, and recipe innovation Working closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth, efficient service and a great customer experience Reporting and addressing any kitchen equipment issues promptly What We’re Looking For At least 1 year of experience as a Chef, preferably with a focus on Japanese cuisine Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery Strong technical cooking skills and a genuine love for Japanese flavours and presentation Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene best practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail A team-oriented mindset with great communication skills and a proactive attitude What We Offer Competitive salary, based on experience A supportive and inclusive team culture Staff discounts and wellbeing initiatives Opportunities for career growth and professional development Ready to make your mark in a Japanese-inspired kitchen?
