Administration Officer - Home Education Support Services Join to apply for the Administration Officer - Home Education Support Services role at Queensland Department of Education Queensland Home Education (QHE) is seeking Permanent and Temporary Administration Officers to join our dedicated team as we continue to grow and enhance our services for families across Queensland. Our Administration Officers play a pivotal role in supporting the end-to-end delivery of our operational and client services. From managing applications through to reporting, compliance, and correspondence, these roles are key to ensuring that every stage of the home education journey runs smoothly and efficiently. Two positions are available, one permanent and one temporary until 30 June 2027, unless otherwise determined. About The Role As the Administration Officer you will: Provide administrative, human resources and financial services to support the activities of the unit in the delivery of high-quality client services. Work collegially as a member of a team to deliver administrative and corporate support functions across the Unit. Responsibilities Perform a variety of administrative or support services as directed by the Manager Examine, prioritise and register incoming correspondence and manage general outgoing correspondence Assist with maintenance of accurate record systems and databases to support the Queensland Home Education including collation and recording of data Act as the first point of contact for enquiries from internal and external stakeholders and identify and respond to stakeholders' needs Maintain personal subject knowledge, technical proficiency and skills appropriate to the role including compliance with appropriate policies, procedures and protocols Desirable Skills and Experience Experience in providing high quality administrative support in a fast-paced corporate environment Exceptional attention to detail Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work collaboratively as a team player Interested?
