Join to apply for the Administration Support Officer role at Country Fire Authority (CFA) Casual hours PTA 2 | AUD 30.52 per hour plus 25% casual loading About This Role Location: CFA Headquarters Burwood East About The Role In preparation for seasonal impacts, CFA is seeking two Casual Administration Support Officers to provide essential front‑of‑house and administrative support at our busy Headquarters in Burwood East. In these roles, you'll help ensure our operations run smoothly while delivering a warm, professional experience for both visitors, CFA members and employees. If you enjoy varied work and collaborating with a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you. What You’ll Do: Be the first point of contact for visitors, managing the visitor pass process and ensuring everyone feels welcome. Handle a high volume of phone calls and email enquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Coordinate the dispatch and delivery of mail, parcels, and other goods. Order and manage stationery and office supplies to keep the workplace fully equipped. Maintain and update business processes and work instructions. Assist with basic financial tasks including purchase orders, receipts, and invoice processing in line with CFA standards. Support records management, data entry, and other administrative tasks as required. About You Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build great working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Administration and reception experience (highly advantageous). Confidence using MS Office and database systems (highly advantageous). Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer‑focused approach. Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to work proactively and independently. The ability to draft professional correspondence, documents and reports.
