This hands‑on role combines sales and business development, giving you the chance to work with premium specialty ingredients – Calcium Butyrate, Trace Minerals, Prebiotics, Mycotoxin Binders, and more – while helping farms, feed mills, and pet food manufacturers across Australia optimise animal health. This isn’t about ticking boxes — it's about building relationships, driving growth, and making animals healthier, one account at a time. OH – AND THE PACKAGE? $110K base + super + performance bonus + car allowance + commission for new business. Your success is rewarded. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (THE FUN STUFF) Identify and secure new accounts across feed mills, farms, aquaculture producers, and pet food manufacturers nationwide. Promote science-backed specialty ingredients that genuinely improve animal health outcomes. Plan customer visits, run technical presentations, and coordinate field trials that convert into long‑term supply contracts. Balance new business development with managing existing accounts – building trust while driving sales. Use your nutrition and technical know-how to deliver value-added solutions customers can’t get elsewhere. Provide market intelligence on competitors, trends, and customer needs to keep the company ahead of the curve. Maintain accurate pipeline and CRM records (yes, even the admin matters here). WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE Degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, or a related field. 3–5+ years in sales or business development within feed, animal health, or agri‑inputs. You’ve opened new accounts, grown market share, and have the wins to prove it. You can negotiate, present, and build rapport with farmers, formulators, and decision-makers alike. Comfortable working autonomously and travelling extensively across Australia. Nutrition and formulation knowledge is a massive advantage — it’s what sets you apart. You genuinely care about animal health and nutrition, and it shows in how you work.
